Last Saturday November 5, Eddie Sturla closed the 2011 season with a golden key. It was the Ironman Florida in Panama City, USA, where after 51:15 swim, 4:29:47 bike and 2:56:56 of running finished on the 6th place. "It was a very fast race since the beginning," said Sturla.

"I left the water in a good position but preferred to keep my pace in the race. I knew I had very good runners coming from sub 2:50 back to me. I'm happy, I improved my times and closed the year with another top 10", continued. The year 2011 began in March when the argentine triathlete ran IM South Africa and got a 6th place. IM Brazil in May and a victory. In June, IM Lake Placid, USA and a 4th place and finally IM Florida and the 6th position.

"Now we return to Buenos Aires and my next goal is my training camp in Brazil, EDUARDO STURLA UNLIMITED, the next 03 and 04 December in São Paulo, Brazil. Apart from the races I was 3 months training in Australia and more 4 months in the United States. Surely I learned a lot about our sport. I hope to pass that forward to people interested in triathlon".
